Black Isle Men's Shed AGM

14 February 2024

Starts: 14:00

Wednesday 14  February   2.00    Chanonry Sailing Club

Richard Cherry, BIMS Secretary, writes

This is to confirm that our Sixth AGM will be held at Chanonry Sailing Club on Wednesday afternoon 14 February 2024.  We will start at 2:00pm with tea/coffee/etc and biscuits available from 1:00pm.

The Minutes of our 2023 AGM and the Special Members Meeting can be viewed by following the links, as can the Agenda for the AGM.

The Accounts for 2023 have been approved by our Scrutineer, Hector Douglas, to whom we are very grateful. They form part of the Annual Report for 2023 which will be signed of in due course before submission to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

We have reached an amicable agreement with the Sea Scouts to continue our occupancy of the Avoch premises until 2028.  Although this is welcome news it still leaves us with the intractable problem that the  workshop is too small.  We see no prospect of extending it because of technical or financial constraints and it is imperative that we find alternative accommodation.  Any suggestions will be very welcome!

Please let me know if you can attend - it will greatly assist our catering arrangements.
